Welcome to Osypics
Welcome to the website!
I hope you'll enjoy having a browse around some of the pictures, and if you'd like to get in touch please click on the 'Contact Me' link in the top right corner.
A bit about me
My name is David Morris, and I live and work on the edge of the North York Moors National Park.
I've been 'serious' about photography for about 6 years though picked up my first SLR about 15 years ago, learning by frustrating and expensive exercises in film printing.
Landscape photography is my passion, and you can't really beat that wonderful feeling of being alone in a landscape at the start or beginning of the day, waiting for the right light to hit your subject.
Alongside this I like to experiment with many different challenges both in the studio (e.g. see the banner at the top of this page) and out and about at various local events. I also photograph local artist's work for record purposes and high quality reproduction prints.
Anyway, you're presumably here to look at the pictures, not to read my ramblings, so please have a browse around the tabs on the left, I hope you enjoy.

North York Moors
Nothing beats the North York Moors for dramatic landscapes and brilliant light.
Scotland 2009
Some brief spells of light found their way through the 'Summer' cloud and rain.
South Wales and Gower
My old stomping ground, and a beautiful part of the world for photography.
